A.A. Weiss is the author of Lenin's Asylum, a travel memoir, and The Apologist, a novel. His essays and short stories have twice received special mention in the Pushcart Prize Anthology and he's received grants from the Bronx Council on the Arts and the Maryland State Arts Council. He’s an alum of the Kenyon Review Writers Workshop in Fiction, and earned an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Texas at El Paso. He lives in Washington, D.C.
